Sunday Night Thoughts… On Monday Morning

January 24, 2011

I have been a lazy blogger… but that’s ok, I don’t get paid.

  • It is so important in a marriage that both sides give everything. It’s been easy for both of us to do this lately. I love Abbie.
  • In my opinion we had one of the better church services in a long time on Sunday morning. Great atmosphere of God being lifted up and great message of how God desires to set you free from sin.
  • Hard conversations are never comfortable but they are necessary.
  • Getting closer to a new blog theme.
  • If we recruit people to our ministry schools, christian colleges, and ministry teams like coaches recruit high school athletes to their colleges… then we are in monumental trouble. Why? Because recruiting like that builds ego, and ego does not belong in the kingdom of God.
  • Christians ought to be more aware of who is around them before they speak.
  • Are there any quality blogs out there on inner city ministry?
  • Cool story on Big Ben and his road to redemption. How do you feel about Ben?
  • Steelers VS Packers… who you got?
  • Does being out spoken mean you are automatically divisive?

Hope you have a great week and you don’t automatically but what they are selling. : )

I struggle with Big Ben, as much as I want to give him a second chance I just wonder what is all going on with him and in the way that it seemed to be covered up so quickly. But I will check that article out.

I hear you. Being from Pittsburgh, I think it’s actually easier to forget about that stuff since he has been winning. Or at least that seems to be the case with the city. I guarantee if he was losing, they would run him out of town.
