Scripture on my mind

For the past eight months to a year I have been exploring the idea of predestination and how those who believe in it see it working. One of the things that becomes very clear (which I knew all along, it’s not some sort of drastic discovery) is that God is outside of time. Meaning He was before anything on earth and will continue to be forever. He is outside of time, while my reality is being inside of time.

How we see God will help us deal with the reality of being inside of time.

Last week was one of the roughest weeks I have ever been through. And it was not surprising to God, in fact He knew it was coming before my little frame was created. Same goes for you. He knew what you would go through last week.

Considering last week and all of its happenings, I am very grateful that God has been upgrading my view of Him in the past year. This scripture has been in my mind all week.

Ephesians 1:3-5

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us  for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will…
