Primal by Mark Batterson

December 15, 2009

I just finished Mark Batterson’s newest book entitled Primal. I have read all of Marks other works and have been impressed. Primal I must say was right in line with the others and did not disappoint.

In Primal Mark brings to light how Christians are not living the “Primal” life anymore. He challenges you to start to live with a holy compassion, curiosity and energy that maybe you once had before but have lost.

Personally I enjoyed chapter 6 on Holy Curiosity the most. In it he challenges you to never stop asking questions and to never stop learning. Which is something that I believe that the church must do if it wants to continue to reach this lost and broken world.

Over all this book is well written, and very well researched. If you are looking for a quick read to get you going at the beginning of the year I would recommend checking out Primal.

If you would like more info and the chance to purchase this book you can go to Randomhouse.com.
